To ensure the correct size, measure the circumference of your pole using a soft measuring tape. Divide this circumference by 3.14 to obtain the diameter. If the diameter falls between two whole numbers, opt for the larger diameter, as the smaller size will not fit. For instance, if your measured circumference is 16.5", dividing it by 3.14 yields a diameter of 5.25". In this case, you would need a 6" diameter pole pad.
